I have a water pump leak at the o-ring

Replaced the water pump and having leak at o-ring. Replace the o-ring and still leaks. It's getting torn up. Any ideas

When you remove the pump, clean the surface really good of any scale or abrasions. Then reinstall the water pump with a new o-ring.

Thanks for answering. They latest o-ring seems to be working but now I have a new leak. The WP is new, hope it's a gasket.
