my 1995 is over hearting/smoking do i drain radiator and replace with all antifreeze?

No, its probably the Famous Subaru head gasket failure. have it checked out at a service center, unless you how to check this and have all the gear to do the testing.

No again. Unlikely to be the OE t-stat, but could be plugged heater core hose or clogged externally or internally radiator. If not then probably the HGs. If the latter toss the car....
