how dow take off governor on 1998 non turbo 2.5 subaru impreza
Get a retune.. You shouldn't really need to unless you're on a road track
^ agreed. I went 120+ in mine and it was still climbing, shut it down.. not sure where you need this speed or where yours died off at.
no need to my 93 subaru legacy with the 2.2L and 5speed manual has hit 133mph, removing the governor is a good way to ruin your car, a lot of the time a governor is set to keep the car from doing more than it is safely capable of, realistically on a closed course track you'd have trouble hiting those kinds of speed and there is no reason to endanger other people by doing 100+ on the streets, if you get caught doing over 100 where I live you get arrested and your car gets towed and impounded.
