While driving the car will lose power
I just bought a subaru outback 2000 automatic and
the check engine light was on I went to auto zone
they hooked it up and said it was reading the 02
sensor so we bought a new one and put it in and I
started driving the car and 2miles down the road I
was going a steady 35mph and the APMS dropped
like it was not getting gas and then kicked back on
like it got gas and kept doing it all the way home
and the check engine light started blinking. It was
not having that problem the first 2 days I drove it.
What do you think?
Maybe a fuel delivery problem but have the trouble codes read to know more.
Replace one of the front rear sensors? The fronts are technically called "air/fuel sensor" and often require an exact OEM number...or very careful match. But again, check the codes and proceed. Probably a good idea to buy a cheap ACTRON scanner.
