Power steering is blinking? Do you mean the check engine light? If so take it to a mechanic and have them read the codes to tell you what is wrong with it.

There various reasons that may compromise Subaru's power out put..lets begin with...Is yo car having an automatic transmission?? Well if it does, chances are that it cud have developed an internal problem in the transmission system, the throttle body and all the sensors around it have carbon that builds up and significantly make them fail to communicate with the ECU,Fuel filter needs to be looked at, Sparkplugs and lastly the lead wires...am pretty sure if all these are checked it will resume back to normal..Shaficre is my name and u can reach me on shaficre@yahoo.com.
