Oil light flickering

Asked by Jan 17, 2018 at 06:40 PM about the 2003 Subaru Forester

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The car oil light started flickering when I
break. The light goes off when I press on
the gas. The oil levels are good, just had
the oil changed 3 wks ago. What can be
wrong with the car?

could be oil pressure sensor .or if lots of miles or beat hard oil pump could be bad.i lean towards the sensor.

Are you assuming the oil level is good because it was just changed? Double check the oil level.
