we have a 2004 subaru forester that the check engine light is on and it is misfiring on cylinders 1 and 2 also chokes and loses power we accelerating any ideas would be appreciated help!

So you had the codes check I take it, and you got P0301 and P0302? Check the compression of the cylinders and swap the spark plugs first. Do you have any coolant loss? You could have a head gasket issue or plug/coil issue. You can also swap the coils around to see if the codes move to cylinders 3 and 4, so then it would be the coils.
