it means your coolant is low and you need to add some

or the coolant sensor could be faulty and dirty causing an incorrect reading.

I didn't think of that. Tom didn't get all those reputation points for nothing. He knows what he is talking about

Well he's half way right, also the ion has a pressurized cooling system,it has to be bled out just like brakes to make sure there is no sir in the cooling system. There's a kit for it at summit racing and manufacturer dealer ships not sure about Auto zone or advanced
