My radio won't work in my 99 grand am gt

Check the fuse. If that doesn't fix it it's time for a new radio. The cheap route would be a junkyard or ebay factory replacement. For around $100 you can get a very modern updated stereo. Crutchfield.com is a great place to get everything you need.
