2000 sunfire running rich

My 2000 Pontiac sunfire fire is running a little rich
at start up. What are some things I can do to fix
that. The gas milage has went down lately too

Try some general maintenance things first. Check and replace air filter if necessary, clean throttle with throttle body cleaner, replace fuel filter if have not done so in awhile, add fuel injector cleaner to gas tank.
