should I replace my timing belt when I get my water pump replace in a 2001 Grand Am
My car have 200000 miles on it and I need to know if I need to replace the
timing belt when I replace my water pump
yes, do you know when it was last changed?
You have a timing chain. Not a belt. But if you're planning on keeping the car for awhile and it's in good shape I'd replace the timing chain and sprockets. At 200,000 it wouldn't hurt. HTH. -Jim
He has a belt, it says so at the top of the page.
Lol, Bob. -Jim
