Not enough information. Is there coolant in the radiator or do you have a coolant leak?

Do a compression check on the engine, you may have head damage or blowed head gasket.

You should replace the plastic upper intake manifold and replace the lower intake manifold gaskets (3.8L). The plastic upper intake manifold should not be reused because they crack. The lower intake manifold gaskets are notorious for failure on the 3.8L and should be replaced. Simply replacing the upper intake gasket is only doing 1/3 of the job. HTH. -Jim
