engine WILL NOT SEPARATE FROM THE TRANSMISSION.

i am changing out the engine on a 2002 pontiac
sunfire.  have removed all 6 bolts....even cut
through one of the guides pins and it STILL WILL
NOT SEPARATE FROM THE TRANSMISSION.   any
ideas??

Corroded dowel pins will cause misery.

Did you unbolt the torque converter from the flywheel? Try a wooden wedge and a hammer. HTH. -Jim
