The radiator cooling fans are commanded on by the computer when the engine coolant temperature reaches a certain point or you select "max a/c" on the dash board climate controls. The coolant temperature sensor sends that information to the computer. If they're not working, check the relays in the underhood fuse box. There's 3 for the fans. One for each fan (4 pin) then another (5 pin) for both fan's high speed. HTH. -Jim
