Can I take a 2.2 eco tech out of a 2002 grand am and put a 3.4 motor in it without making modifications to put it in
You will have to change motor mount,s and tranny mount,s and have to change out the ecm,and wiring harness to macth sensor,s to motor, exhaust modification,s all so.
Thanx how much would that run me
The tranny as well. The EcoTech and GM v-6's have a different bellhousing pattern. The cheapest method would be to find a running donor 3400 Grand Am '00 or newer and pull the motor, tranny, engine bay harness, motor mounts, rad etc. Look for a wrote off vehicle that runs. Then exhaust mods as T_S_T said. Keep all PCM sensors on the 3400. There is no way to estimate this until you find a donor car, but if it is in good shape it should have everything you need..
