P1271 error code for running lean

Asked by Dec 31, 2013 at 07:35 PM about the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This code is also coming up.  Will the P0300 code cause this to happen or vice versa or is it two separate problems all together.

P0300 might be related to it. P0300 is a generic misfire code. I'd have the APP diagnosed and fix that code first. I am guessing P0300 will go away.
