System blockage. Water is not circulating to the heater core. Could be a stuck thermostat. I would highly recommend a good system flush and change out the t-stat.

My 2000 grand am has a crack in the reservoir and is leaking coolant everywhere is it ok to drive the car home or will the car blow up?
