My car is pouring out oil after also leaking water in engine..
I've had water leaking in the back
right side of engine.. recently car was
turned off after driving wouldn't start
looked under the hood and oil was all
over the bottom soaked my starter
was told it's some kind of sensor and
possible cracked head any ideas
Also there is moisture in oil was some on oil cap before it's now showing on dip stick.
You let the leaks go too long and now your probably looking at rebuilding or replacing the engine.
Sounds like the motor is shot. Go to a junkyard or get a Jasper rebuild.
The car starts and drives the starter needed to be cleaned of all the oil.. where's the oil coming from
Get a couple of cans of Gunk from the auto supply. Warm up the engine and spray the stuff everywhere, follow the directions on the can. Once the engine is sparkling clean you will be able to see exactly what's causing the oil leak. However, I tend to agree with Tom. A water leak from the engine needs to be fixed ASAP because it leads to more damage and failure in a very short time. You say there is moisture in the crankcase, that's not a good thing. Possibly a head gasket (pricey, tedious but fixable), warped head (very pricey, probably not worth it) or cracked block (not fixable).
