why wouldn't my compressor come on

low freon , if there is no or low freon the compressor will not come on to prevent damage to the compressor. do not attempt to do it yourself . there is more involved than just adding freon. most likely you have a leak somewhere or the compressor is shot. if you're in central florida I can fix any a/c problem.
