My 2006 grand prix stopped blowing cold air one day. Three days before, on my way to work my car picked up a stick under the passenger area of the underside of car. ..right behind the right front wheel well. I drove a mile pulled into gas station and a kind gentleman pulled it out. went to work and ac was blowing fine. The car sat at the airport 3 days and when I drove it home....no ac, or rather only blowing warm air, no cooling. what could be the problem?

Sounds like the stick punctured or damaged a refrigerant line for the air conditioning. You'll need to have the system leak checked. The shop will put an ultraviolet dye in the system to find the leak. HTH. -Jim

Thank you, I was afraid of that...So it most likely is not a fuse, then.

It's probably not a fuse. Unless the stick ripped the wiring out of the compressor plug. On my '00 the compressor sits down low in the engine compartment. But then you would have noticed the air conditioning not working immediately. Same with a blown fuse. HTH. -Jim

Thank you again, hopefully the new line won't cost more than the car!!
