When i am pulling off in first or going down the road in another gear, my car will start cutting back. it does not seem to be the clutch or transmission. What could be causing this problem.

Recently had a new head kit put on. Along, with 1 valve replaced, a gas tank replaced,
new fuel filter put in and also new head bolts put on my car. The fuel pump was not
changed.

Do you mean the speed drops or do you mean it starts chugging
