Question type: Maintenance & Repair

the starter is testing good as well as the battery. I try to start it the starter drags very slow
and it does not start. I put the battery out of my truck in it and it starts right up. this is a
much bigger battery . I would be very grateful with any help diagnosing this problem.

Sounds like your battery is either weak (if older) or doesn't have enough cold cranking amps (CCA) to do the job (if new). If this only happens when the engine is hot the starter, most likely, is getting lazy. HTH. -Jim
