Are you trying to use a new or different ignition key? Does your ignition key have a visible chip on it (VATS system) or not (PASSkey system)? With the VATS system the most likely cause is a worn out ignition lock cylinder. With PASSkey any new keys must be programmed into the system. Your owner's manual will explain how. A damaged key will also not work in the PASSkey system either. There is a transponder in the key head that, if damaged or not programmed into the system won't work. HTH. -Jim
