1988 Chevy G20 will not start when warm.

in your first sentence, you meant tbi instead of tdi? tdi usually means turbo diesel, 5.7l engine is not a diesel. when problem is ongoing, engine cranking, can you see fuel injector spray pattern? With tbi, you should be able to see spray pattern? If no spray pattern have to check voltage and ground for fuel injector.

Sometimes a coolant temperature sensor that's lost its calibration will cause a no start condition on a GM. So you can check that as well. Hope that helps! Jim

I checked the injectors were pulsing fuel when engine was cold, started and let it warm up the checked when warm no fuel from the injectors. I will change the temperature sensor to see if that helps. Simmie

I finally managed to get the right temperature sensor and changed it but I still have the same problem no fuel on starting when engine is warm. Any advice on what to heck now? Simmie
