please help i get 66 miles to the tank
How many gallons does it take to fill it back up? -Jim
Wow. My powerwagon even looks good against those numbers. There is no way that little motor is burning that much fuel unless your in 1st or low range LOL. I would check the fuel lines that you disconnected and reconnected first. If they are not leaking check the motor. This leak should be noticeable.
Sounds like the transmission isn't shifting properly. Check that all the wiring got plugged in correctly when you did the engine swap. Also, if by chance, you have a vacuum modulator controlling the shift points make sure the vacuum hose is hooked up to intake manifold vacuum. If your truck is not equipped with a tachometer buy a cheap one for testing purposes and see where the engine is revving while you're driving. I bet it's revving higher than it should be and sucking up all your gas. HTH. -Jim
YOUR NEIGHBOR IS SYPHONING IT OUT AT NIGHT. PUT A GAS CAP WITH A LOCK ON.
