1994 maxima stahls at stoplights ..starts up again but smells like gas

Asked by Mar 15, 2015 at 01:36 PM about the 1994 Nissan Maxima

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1 Answer

On a quarter tank of fuel, add a bottle of injector cleaner to the fuel tank. Top up fuel after problem solved. Worked a charm for me. I actually suspect the fuel filter. I drove my 1992 Maxima to 420 000 km before selling it 10 years ago. Saw it some months ago, still going strong!
