If its a standard trans I would check the clutch petal switch. Might be out of adjustment or need to be replaced

Could be poor connections on the starter, or starter solenoid, or poor connection on the negative battery cable on the other end of it. Then maybe the ignition switch is worn out.

I would definitely check the starter
