Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had an air bag recall service
performed by Lexus and one week
later my transmission goes
completely out. Could something
have happened during the air bag
replacement to cause
transmission problems?  My car
was running fine prior to this

could be pure coincidence , but I don't trust anyone , hopefully you can find an honest mech.
