someone said my timing chain needed the change on my 2005 nissan sentra. Is it for sure that and also is there a manual or something to show me how to do it myself?

engine light came on said random misfiring
for a little while but then it went off by itself.
It will not turn over and it will not turn over
being jumped off on my battery.

If it was the timing chain it would still turn over but very fast because there'd be no compression. Sounds like you have 2 problems going on. A starter problem and possibly a tune up is needed. Get it to crank first then run a compression test. If all cylinders test low, it's jumped timing. HTH. -Jim
