Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm having a problem with getting my car to
run. It will crank but doesn't start. When I
crank it, it slips and seems like my starter is
moving away or not engaging. It was
running then stopped,running I didnt loose
power it just shut down and check engine
came on. Now check engine is gone and will
not start. Use to come in and off when it
turned off it would start. Really struggling
with this one please help.

No check engine light when key is first turned on? If so check for blown fuse. The light coming on shows that your ecu is getting power.

Also check timing belt. Kinda sounds like yours broke or jumped time. If so you have bent valves probably
