I was cruising up the highway when all of a sudden it
started decelerating so I went lower and lowering gears so
I finally pulled over had it towed home started up when we
got home boy was it rough it was like one of those foot
and back massage chairs vibrated awfully rough barely
stayed idle like you wanted to die thought I smelled
something burning like

Pull timing cover and check marks should be a timing belt on that yr and you may be lucky and it only jumped. I've seen them run just like your describing and re did timing fixed it right up. It's really a pretty easy timing job just remember the pump is timed too on that yr
