What causes a screeching noise when I accelerate past 40

I just bought a Mitsubishi GT 3000 today, an
(impulse/desperate need buy.) I test drove it in a
neighborhood and all was fine. When I got on a road to
accelerate, between 35-40, on the highway also, it made a
screeching type of sound coming from the driver side front
tire. Could this be a brake issue or something worse? It was
sitting for a while before I bought it, I just need to know
some opinions before I spend a stupid amount of money
on something that isn't the problem. No auto shops around
me are operating at the moment and I'm a basic car guy,
can only fix basic things. Let me know

Yea, it was a good deal and I needed it. Lol I do know how to replace things and have the money to. Luckily my good friend is a mechanic, he's checking it all out as we speak while I'm working. Thanks for input though, I'm hoping it's something as simple as a belt.

having problems here I have a 95 3000gt car was working fine on Friday come sunday it wont start. when I turn the ignition on I hear no relays turning on and off and fuel pump dose not prime. all the lights come on and off on the dash. and the fuel pump dose come on when cranking.
