I have a 2002 Mercury Sable 24 valve duel overhead cam.

Question type: General

It was running good and started vapor locking. Then it would start but would
die. acting like it was not getting enough gas to stay started. Now it will not
start. We put a new fuel filter on it. It still acts like it is not getting fuel. Any
ideas on what this could be?

I would suspect either the fuel pump or fuel regulator, should check the fuel pressure to verify.
