We just put a transmission in my car n now the coolant fan wont kick on and my car is running hot and it wasn't doing that before we changed transmissions

Did you make sure the fan was plugged back, if yes than check fuse and relay

You can ask a friend to rig a tago switch till yoy fix the problem so you do not ruin your engine
