What would cause pistons four and five to misfire in my 2002 Mercury Cougar?

Asked by Dec 21, 2010 at 08:25 PM about the 2002 Mercury Cougar

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

35th Anniv. Edition. Loss of power up hills and also sporadically through town. Sometimes doesn't start right away or at all
without a jump. Turns over but doesn't catch. Thanks I hope you can help. 144,000 miles 2.5L V6
