What would cause pistons four and five to misfire in my 2002 Mercury Cougar?

35th Anniv. Edition. Loss of power up hills and also sporadically through town. Sometimes doesn't start right away or at all
without a jump. Turns over but doesn't catch. Thanks I hope you can help. 144,000 miles 2.5L V6
