what does it mean when your heat won't stop running even when you shut it off just while the cars running

If you mean blowing while moving,try turning off the heat to cool setting,it is the fresh air flow though vent,s,this is normal,but if it heat and you can,t turn to cool,then it is another issue.

It can be, a bad switch or a resistor that goes bad over time that causes the fan to only work on a certain speed or speeds, but not on all of them. Chryslers are notorious for these going bad, but I really never heard of one on most other makes.
