91 mpv 6 cyl starter

Asked by Aug 08, 2010 at 12:23 AM about the 1991 Mazda MPV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

if you have to change your starter you had better have little hands.
i had to cut off the bolts with a flexable drill.
took all day for me.
good luck,if you can afford it pay a mechanic.
Hardest starter i have ever changed, then getting it out and back in was a real workout. i love my van but i was about ready too shoot it.
