1994 mazda mpv 3.0 v6, leaking antifreeze off the bottom of the transmission
leaking antifreeze at the back of the engine and i cant find where the source is. its not the freeze plugs on either side of the engine as far as i can tell. leaking gallon of antrifreeze out the bottom of the tranny where it mounts to the engine. is there a freeze plug on the backside of the engine? why else would i be leaking so much fluid from the back of the engine? its the v6 3.0
Unless there is some kind of massive head gasket leak from the rear of the engine, it sounds like a freeze plug has left loose. In many vehicles there is at least one freeze plug that in some cases is covered or partially covered by the transmission. It is also possible that there is a crack in the block at this location, causing fluid to escape.
Could u so me a picture of where the bottom freeze plugs are
