how do you remove cup holder

I believe this is part of the ashtray piece and the whole thing needs to be replaced as a unit. You'll need to remove the front panel of the console to access the cupholder mounts.

Open the arm rest and take out the screws underneath it. two are kind of hard to get to. I just took mine out and put a new one in.
