car died after adding to much freon and won't turn over
rent a Freon vacuum and empty it and see if it will turn over and then add the right amount of Freon
It froze to death!
I don't know that crumbob and I are exactly on the same page about a "Freon Vacuum" but he is right, the R134a must be captured, it will come out on it's own when the system is opened. Illegal to release in to atmosphere although not nearly as toxic and bad on the air as real R12 freon, which your car does not have, But Freon is the standard nomenclature for automotive A/C refrigerant. It was discontinued (made illegal) for cars beginning in the 1996 model year. Still used in commercial applications, such as supermarket freezers. Freon is a Trademark owned by DuPont for R12. But now, be that as it may if you A/C is turned off, it will not cause your engine to not start
