Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently my truck shut down and I couldn't get it to start because of no spark.
Replaced Ignition control module, and aftermarket HEI coil. Truck ran for a
while but shut down. I turn key to run position, all electrical good until I turn to
start. Truck clicks and everything shuts down. No idea what to else to try.

Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. The generic spec for a full charge is 12,6 volts, use a digital multimeter across battery posts to read. You can leave meter leads touching the battery posts, have helper turn key to crank, how far does the voltage reading drop? Another thought is to check primary voltage to ignition coil, goes hot with the key on.
