noisy tappet sound?

When parked last fall no noise now sounds like tappets both sides?

Add a quart of Marvel Mystery oil and gently rev it up and down, do not exceed 2000 RPM's for about 2 minutes, shut it off and let it sit at least an hour, then fire it up and see if the tapping is getting better, then change the oil and filter, and then see if it stops. If it never gets better then the lifters have collapsed and the internal seals are bad so they will have to be replaced.
