Rav4 dies completely after power button is shut off. It is not my key.

Asked by dianagalbraith Feb 21, 2020 at 12:19 PM about the 2017 Toyota RAV4

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2017 Rav 4 sporadically shuts down when I turn it off.  The entire front
panel goes dead, car will not lock, all signals and lights in panel turn off as if
battery ha been disconnected.  Then it starts up again spontaneousy in about
10 to 40 minutes.  This has happened over the last 6 months about 12 times.
