Replace the thermostat first. I literally just had this code pop up yesterday on my '00 Grand Prix. The thermostat was stuck partly open. If your Lexus doesn't warm up to operating temperature (195°F) within a certain time limit this code will set. The most common cause is a stuck open thermostat. HTH. -Jim
