what is wrong. Check engine light is on and I smell gas

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I smell gas outside the car when running and when I turn on the heat the smell transfers to inside the car.
other then that everything runs great

Get the codes read at the parts store. Open the hood and look for a gas leak. When the heater is on, it's draws air from the base of the windshield.
