Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The truck will start and engine runs good , replaced
trans fluid and filter , there was metal specs in
there . Changed oil . Always kept up on all service .
It will go in each gear okay but it does not move at
all  it's an automatic  ford e350  5.4 L , after I put
new trans fluid and filter in a few days later it
would not move , it's starts up fine just wondering
if I'm missing something or does the transmission
need to be replaced ?

Was it moving before you changed the trany fluid and filter? Is the fluid level on the full mark?

Eventually even well maintained transmissions need to be replaced. Did the trans work before you changed the ATF? The best deal on rebuilt Ford transmissions is from Ford itself. Ask your dealer about it.
