steering wjeel is locked and the key will not turn

Most likely you just need to jiggle the wheel a bit while you are trying to turn the key. Sometimes the anti-theft wheel lock will get "locked up" so to speak and become very hard to unlock. You may also have a problem with your ignition switch. Try turning the wheel hard to the right while trying to turn the key. If this doesn't work you'll need a mechanic.

thats right, the wheel lock kicks in when you turn the steering -20 degrees and they keys are not on ACC, the best way to bring the steering back is to move the steering about -25 to -30 degrees and turn the key clock wise...u should be fine.
