Soft beeping noise when car is off

Asked by GuruYSSB6 Mar 10, 2018 at 10:19 PM about the 2016 Hyundai Sonata

Question type: General

I have noticed on several different
occasions that when my car is turned
off and I walked by it as soon as I get
near the front of the car I can hear a
very faint beeping noise and it'll beat
baby like every 30 seconds and then
it just stops. I've also noticed when I
go to get in my car as soon as I open
the door I hear the beeping noise I'm
not sure what it is or how to figure out
what it is. I have only one fob on me
so it's not that I'm leaving my fob in
the car does anybody have any
suggestions what it could be I have
no lights on no nothing thank you for
your help in advance

I have a 2012 Hyundai Sonata and it’s making the same noises it almost sounds like thise old multi-cd players when it would change discs or when you skip tracks but anyway I’m doing the same research not a definite answer yet but it’s a possibility it’s the satellite radio doing updates

I have a 2018 sonata and tonight I noticed the soft beeping noise. I started the car, and since I had just gotten gas I checked the cap shut off the car and the noise stopped. Not sure if this is the answer.
