2001 Kia Rio wont start
I have a 2001 Kia Rio with 66,000 miles. Recently when I try and start the car, its cranking up but it wont turn on. I have checked the battery, and the starter and they are fine. Please help!
Sounds like you have a fuel issue. Id start there
Did the car stall originally before it wouldn't start. Has the timing belt been changed?
spark plugs? check everything that is used in the starting process. having a brain fart and cant list everything now haha good luck
Could be a lot of things. Could be as simple as a fuel pump fuse or bad as a busted timing belt (they are known to do this). If your engine seem the crank faster then usual, I suggest you remove your valve/timing belt cover to see if your belt have snap. You notice it if your camshaft are not turning when cranking. Before, I suggest you check for a blown fuse or bad fuel/ignition relay. If you fix it, I suggest you replace your timing belt. Those engine are with interference so if the timing belt snap, you need a complete engine replacement $$$!
