Is the dealer's price the dealer's invoice price or what the dealer is selling the vehicle for?
The MSRP price was listed as $20,445 and then there was a price drop of over
$4,000.00 and it states the dealer price is the net of these two amounts at $14,581.90.
The dealer is R C Hill in Deland, Florida.
The MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price) is the highest price that can be charged for a specific item. Dealer cost is considerably lower. For example the MSRP on my 1993 Chevrolet Caprice was $20,000 (in round figures). The dealer paid $15,000 for the car (in round figures). I paid $16,500 for the car in October of '93. There's always lots of wiggle room in the price of a new car. Used cars have wiggle room as well, but not quite as much. HTH. -Jim
